I’d like you to meet Gambit. Gambit is one of my cats who previously lived with me, and for whom Gracie is named after, because Gambit and her sister, Shadow and Rogue, were my saving Grave. Why am I introducing Gambit? Gambit used to love sitting on the stairs in my house in the late afternoon because that’s where the late day sun shines into the house. I came home from work today and Gracie was in the same spot that Gambit used to be in, laid out just like he used to. It both brought a tear to my eye and put a big smile on my face. I hope in some ways this connects my new friend to my old friend.
