Today I brought home Gracie, who was known as Tiger’s Eye home from the Voorhees Animal Orphanage. She is 10 years old, black and blind in one eye. She is very, very shy. I took her immediately to her litter box and quickly went upstairs. I went back down and she had gone into hiding. Several hours later she has started to explore the house, but is still not sure what to make of me. I know we will get there, but for now, I just need to give her space.
