It’s been a bit since I’ve posted as we’ve settled into a routine. Gracie sleeps next to me for a bit before moving under the bed. She does go “out and about” through the house sometime in the early hours of the morning. During the day, she sleeps. A lot. Usually under the bed (it’s become her “nest” or in the living room next to my cocktail table. I did get her to eat a treat off the couch, but she still doesn’t jump up. We are going to work on that. I still think we have a lot to overcome as she does get jumpy at times, which does reinforce that she may have been abused. The good news is she is very content curling up in the curve of my leg and falling asleep!
