Not much new going on, but Gracie is doing well. She continues to be a little sweetie. I have started to “step train” her to try to lure her onto the bed. So far she has taken treats from both the first and second step, but mostly the first.
I also got Gracie a food puzzle. The instructions were to start slow, but she was completing it within a couple of days. It was a reminder that she is already 10 (and a 1/2!) which I often forget since we have only been together a short time.
The best story since my last post happened last weekend. I had to run out for about a half hour, so I put a youtube video of songbirds on the tv. I’ve done this before and Gracie usually ignored it. When I came back, this time was very different. She was very close to the TV, staring up and not moving. When I say not moving, I mean no movement what soever!!! Eventually she tried to get closer to the tv, but that was it. She was completely enamored.
Nothing else major to report. Gracie is doing well but I’m busy at work and have some long days that I’m leaving her. It sucks, but I’m sure she can entertain herself. I’ve ordered some yarn so I can make some yarn balls that will hopefully keep her playing. And now, a lot of new pictures!!!
