It’s been a bit since I’ve added a post, but there have been a lot of firsts with Gracie since then, and I feel like, for the most part, she is really comfortable in her home, which can’t make me happier.
The first first happened when Gracie settled down in a ball not only next to me, but right up against me. She also started climbing on me more (to get her treats, of course!), but she also ate one right off of me. I’m hoping that one day she will just climb on me to rest, maybe even becoming a lap cat!!
Another first was when she was eating, for the first time she didn’t stop and leave when I walked by. In fact, I walked by three times and she just kept on eating! Not really a first, but still great is her love for the heated blanket. I have noticed that it takes her a day or two after my housekeepers come to climb back on, but she always ends up there!
The last first was the way she reacted to me getting my Covid booster. The next day I was sick. Gracie would not leave my side. Even places where she wouldn’t usually follow me, she did. This put the ultimate smile on my face. It’s nice to know this pretty little girl loves me as much as I love her.
