It’s been a bit since I have posted an update as Gracie and I have settled into a nice routine. When I get up we play a bit, then she gets breakfast. I do my morning routine (including cleaning the litter box!) and then we play a bit before I head off to work.
When I get home I usually find Gracie sunning herself on the stairs. She sees me and runs straight to her play place, but I head to the kitchen to give her dinner. Then it’s out of the work cloths and downstairs and we play for a bit. Then she eats dinner and then we play some more before she takes a nap and I can finally sit on the couch!!
We also spent a lot of time together during my week of stay-cation. It was very hard having to go back to work. Even when I sat on my patio (I have a nice lounge chair!) she would sit by the door so she could see me. I’m thinking of seeing if she would like sitting in her carrier next to me when I’m outside. That will be interesting.
