Gracie and I had a wonderful weekend together as she continues to get used to (and take over!) her new home. We did a bunch of new things, like belly pets (still very gingerly. She very protective of her belly!) We also played with the last toy which is turning into her favorite. I even got her running a bit up and down the hallway. I also picked her up for the first time without Gracie struggling. This was really nice. Since she doesn’t jump (I haven’t seen her jump on anything!) I am going to try teaching her to use steps to get on the couch and into bed.
The other fun thing is that she hasn’t used the 2 scratching posts I put in the house at all! Instead, she likes using an old rug I have by my back door. Hey, as long as she’s not using the couch, I’m good with that!
